At the department of Psychology at Utrecht University we are looking for a highly motivated candidate interested in the PhD project ”Irrational Fears? How Different Processes in Fear Learning Affect People’s Choices and Shape the World They Experience”. The overall aim of the project is to understand how the interactions between fear, choice behavior, and the environment contribute to the development and persistence of irrational fears. We will use a combination of behavioral experiments, psychophysiological measures, and computational modeling to address this issue.
