Software and presentation details

We really look forward to lots of innovative and exciting research, please make yourself familiar with everything on this website in time, so that you can enjoy the conference!

Please have a look at the final program as well as the overview how to navigate the virtual Conference Site to make yourself familiar with all functionalities. All sessions, keynotes and panel discussion are implemented in Zoom, please have a look at this file for more information regarding Zoom.

We highly recommend that talks should be pre-recorded and that those 13 min videos are uploaded in time (see Pre-recorded videos and uploads below) as a single video file. This way will serve sustainability purposes (e.g. participants from different time zones may not be able to attend all talks) and possible technical difficulties will not become an issue . At the scheduled time slot in the conference program, the talk should be given in the Zoom implementation of the conference website (which can also be accessed without logging into the software platform). Subsequent Q&A regarding the content of the talk will also take place in the Zoom implementation.

Poster presentations should be pre-recorded (max. 4 min) and uploaded in time (see Pre-recorded videos and uploads below) as a single video file. This way, the live poster sessions can concentrate on discussions and everyone (incl. the poster presenters themselves) has the possibility to get an impression of all posters. Please also upload your poster/slides as PDF serving as a basis for discussion during the live poster sessions (see below).

Pre-recorded videos and uploads

Detailed information on how to create, record and upload the pre-recorded videos for talks and posters can be found in this document. We suggest the following three options to realize the pre-recorded videos: Zoom, PowerPoint and Loom. Please have a look at this initial example on how a poster presentation could look like using Loom.

Please realize the recordings and uploads until April 30th, 2021, so that we have enough time to implement everything on the conference website.
